UTM S.E.C. is the Sexual Education and Peer Counselling Centre at the University of Toronto Mississauga. We are a student run organization that acts as a resource centre available to all members of the UTM student body. Our primary goals are to provide education on a diverse range of issues pertaining to human sexuality, and to provide students with resources and counselling on these issues.
At S.E.C., we accept without judgment the existence of a diverse range of human sexualities and actively support the concept of the informed choice, recognizing that all people benefit from the open expression of sexuality, supported by a positive and accepting atmosphere. We are committed to actively integrating principles of anti-discrimination into all aspects of the services we offer and in our organizational development. UTM S.E.C. is operated by a collective sharing responsibility and decision-making.
